Emily G. De Young
Emily De Young focuses her practice on estate planning, probate and guardianship matters. She offers a comprehensive approach to estate planning designed to minimize the risk of future disputes. This includes the drafting of wills (simple or complex), trusts, powers of attorney (durable general and health care), designations of guardians, and living wills. She handles probate matters for both testate and intestate estates: representing an array of persons including executors, trustees, administrators, beneficiaries and intestate heirs.
Emily also represents clients in both contested and uncontested guardianship matters for persons of all ages. Her representation ranges from guiding guardians through the court and administration processes to advocating for the rights of proposed wards. Emily enjoys working with all of her clients, their families, and advisors efficiently and with great compassion.
